- The afternoon sessions are recommended as the best way to start your child at Tara House. There are always less children so the environment is not as overwhelming as the full morning sessions. There is also a higher staff to child ratio and your child will be able to be given the one to one attention they need when first settling into school life. If this is not an option as your child has to start in the mornings then the summer school is then recommended for the settling in period.
- The lunch club and afternoon sessions are also there to provide parents with greater flexibility in their childcare.
- Children attending the morning session are welcome to stay on for lunch until 1.30 or to stay for a full day until 3.30/4.15 Monday to Thursday. This can be booked and paid for in advance if this is to be a regular arrangement or you can use either service on an adhoc basis and pay in cash on the day. Children attending the afternoon session can come early at 12.30 for the lunch club. Please note that parents must provide a packed lunch.
